  3. Why do you like Story? • You can use your imagination • Express ideas and be creative • Can add history • Thought provoking entertainment • Can make us feel emotional • Form of escapism • Can be a learning for certain situations

  4. What makes a good story? • Developed characters, writing, setting • Creative imagination, details, suspense • Beginning, middle, end (closure). Plot twists with relatable and dynamic characters • Become immersed, grabs attention, coherent • Truthfulness (possibly) • Pathos

  5. Kinds of story are there based on your reading? • Songs, poems, movies, scripts, music. • Fantasy, fiction, nonfiction, digital storytelling, video games. • Drama, horror, romance, comedy. • Mind/imagination • Dance/miming

  6. What is storytelling? • Art of communicating to convey meaning • Expression of experience • Moral teaching • Entertainment

  7. What are similarities and differences between story and digital story? • Both – Accomplish similar goals, convey message, both used in expression and easily spread • Differences – How story is conveyed, digital stories are convenient and less interactive, no human element

  8. What makes a good storyteller? • Coveys emotion • Captures attention • Is enthusiastic when speaking • Use complexion • Has charisma and personality • Uses good body language

  9. What would be your challenges to develop a digital story? • Getting viewers to read the story • Making personal connections • Preparation • Knowing how to operate the programs used • Showing emotions • Getting access to the tools
