  1. Brendon McCullum Shares His Happiness As New Zealand Win WTC Final New Zealand have registered a convincing win over India in the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship final. But former captain Brendon McCullum feared that the Kiwis face again the situation like before where they came close to win in big events but would not win the title as well. I’m not sure it’s really sunk in just yet, to be honest.”

  2. Overnight the game was on a bit of a knife’s edge, but it almost had the feeling of the previous two World Cups that we’ll get close but we won’t quite get across the line.” After bowling India out for 170 in the second innings, New Zealand got a target of 139 runs. A comfortable fifty from the captain Williamson (52*) and a stable 47* from Ross Taylor helped New Zealand win the title. However, the former captain also said that since the win came against India, it makes the victory even more beautiful as well. I’m sure in the coming days and weeks, and even years, we’ll look back on this moment and just be so proud of what Kane’s men have been able to achieve and the heights they’ve been able to scale.

  3. For a country with pretty limited resources, it is pretty amazing, and to have done it against the powerhouse of world cricket on the biggest stage is something that makes it even more satisfying,” Brendon McCullum concluded.
