Instructions for Viewing Slideshow Left-clicking your mouse or pressing the “right” directional arrow will advance a slide The “Left” directional arrow will move to the previous slide Right-clicking during the presentation will open a menu. Moving the cursor to “Go to Slide” will allow access to a particular slide of interest

  3. Purpose Project EAGLE is a three week summer program designed to: Prepare participants to be college ready. Give participants study skills, technology tools, and leadership skills to be successful in college Assist participants in selection the appropriate major or career and obtaining financial aid and scholarships to help fund their college education Orient participants to the campus and services that are available

  4. Benefits Saving college prep tuition and fees Study skills and technology tools for success in college Career and major selection assistance Orientation to the campus, services and college process Assistance in applying for financial aid and scholarship searched

  5. Eligibility Must be one of the following: A first-generation college student Student from a low-income family Student with a physical or learning disability Must be seeking an Associates degree

  6. Participation Requirements Must have a standard high school diploma or GED Must participate in all of the scheduled activities for weeks 1 and 3 Must attend all classroom and lab instruction sessions in the academic area where the student is deficient. Must apply for, and participate in, the Student Support Services program

  7. Cost There will be no tuition cost for instruction, since this is not a credit course and will not appear on the students’ transcript PERT retakes are free during the course of the program

  9. Four-Week Schedule Week 1: Introductions Team-Building Skills Week 2: Instruction in Reading Instruction in Arithmetic Week 3: Instruction in English Instruction in Algebra Week 4: A.S. and A.A. Advisement

  12. Week 2b - June 16-19

  13. Week 3A - June 23-26

  14. Week 3B - June 23-26

  15. Week 4 – June 30 - July 2
