  2. Introduction Polish kitchen is very delicious. Polish people eat four meals a day. First we eat breakfast, for example cornflakes or sandwich. Later we eat dinner: soup - żurek, bean soup etc. and main dish - bigos, fried carp,, potato pancakes... After dinner some people like to eat dessert - cheese cake or chrust. In the evening we eat supper, for example herring in oil, scrambled eggs, sandwich... People here like to drink tee or juice.

  3. Polish cuisineit is rich in meat, especially pork, chicken and beef and vegetables.

  4. In Poland we celebrate the New Year of each year. People usually stay at home but some people have parties. People eat tasty dishes e.g.:Carp fried, noodles with cabbage, red borscht, mushroom soup, salmon and many other and at 12 o'clock people drink champagne. At mignight people make wishes and they say ,,Happy New Year,,. Poles celebrate the carnival of the New Year with fireworks.

  5. Easter is the oldest and most important Christian holiday. These are the holy cross commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Weeks preceding it, which is the time for remembering the most important events of the Christian faith is called Holy Week. Easter is a moveable feast. May fall out between March 22 and April 25.  At Easter we eat food, such as eggs, meat, traditional cakes, salads, sausage, ham, bread, pork chops and more

  6. The main course is usually meaty including a roast or pork chop.

  7. Typical Polish cuisine drinks • herbal infusions, • fruit compotes, • fruit liqueurs, • Coffee, • Tea, • Beer,

  8. Meals often conclude with a dessert such as opium, a poppy seed pastry, or bun , a type of yeast cake.
