  2. A degree is a very small fraction of a turn. There are 360 degrees in a whole turn. 1 degree is 1/360 of a whole turn. Click the mouse to see 1/360 of a whole turn. The pointer hardly moved at all! Click the mouse to see 1/360 of a whole turn again. Click the mouse.

  3. There are 360 degrees in a whole turn. 360 A right angle is a quarter turn. There are 4 quartersin a whole. 1/4 x 360 = 90 So there are 1/4 of 360 degrees in a right angle. 90 Click the mouse.

  4. There are 360 degrees in a whole turn. 360 A straight angle is a half turn. There are 2 halvesin a whole. 1/2x 360 = 180 So there are1/2 of 360 degrees in a straight angle. 180 Click the mouse.

  5. There are 360 degrees in a whole turn. 360 A three quarter turn is three quarters of a whole turn. So there are3/4 of 360 degrees in a straight angle. 270 3/4x 360 = 270 Click the mouse.

  6. There are 360 degrees in a whole turn. 360 How many degrees are there in…. …a 1/6turn? Click the mouse when you are ready. 1/6x 360 = 60 60 So there are 60 degrees in a 1/6turn. Click the mouse.

  7. Now find how many degrees there are in some more fractions of a turn.
