  2. Bahan-bahan Pembuat CD • CD pada umumnya terbuat dari Resin dilapisi permukaan yang sangat reflektif yaitu Aluminium

Tipe-tipe Piringan CD • CD-ROM -Biasanya yang original lebih awet dari yang bajakan -dibuat dengan menaruh selembar lapisan plastik • CD-R -biasanya berwarna hijau tapi ada yang biru,merah dan hitam -cara pembuatan sama dengan CD-ROM tapi belum disinar laser • CD-RW -Biasanya berwarna ungu -cara pembuatan sama dengan CD-ROM dan CD-R tapi lapisan pastiknya bisa membuka dan menutup

  4. Modus CD • Ada 2 Modus CD: - Mode 1 digunakan untuk menyimpan data. -Mode 2/XA digunakan khusus untuk CD-Audio atau VCD.
