  1. What are the four seasons in life and how they can be used for making a better life vision? All know that there are four seasons in a year. In a similar manner, there are also five seasons in the life of a person. This idea can be made clear by listening to a story. A king wanted to teach his four sons a good lesson. For this, he asked them to go to a cherry tree situated in the forest of his kingdom. He wanted his eldest son to visit the tree in the peak winter and write some description about the tree. After visiting the tree the princess told the king that the tree is old, barren, and hopeless as even birds are not coming near to it. He also suggested that it is better to cut the tree and make use of the wood before it gets destroyed.

  2. The king asked his next son to visit the tree during the middle of the spring and write some description about the tree. After visiting the tree the princess came back to the king and said that the tree is full of lovely cherry blossoms and it appears young and promising. Then the king asked the third son to visit the tree during summer. He visited the tree as told by the king and came back and said that the cherry tree looks mature and valuable as it is loaded with delicious cherries instead of blossoms. In a similar way, the youngest son of the king visited the cherry tree during autumn and reported that the tree does not have any flowers or fruits as described by his brothers. He also said that the tree looked an ideal object for painting with its leaves in orange, red, and gold colors. After getting all these remarks the king asked his sons to tell him what they have learned from this experience. All the elder sons seriously thought about the answer to this question and they were not able to find it. The youngest son replied that: •We also experience four seasons of life like the tree by which we are greatly affected. •It is not wise to evaluate our life based on the outcome of the current season. •Every season has its own purpose in life. •Every season will change The four seasons of life In the olden days people used to be more connected to the seasons. They adapted their life to suit the seasons as they embraced the seasons. A farmer rests in his hut during winter and keeps his tool ready by sharpening and polishing it. In summer he protects his field from insects, weeds, animals, etc, and nourishes his crop. By the time the summer arrives, he will reap the products of his work and enjoy the benefits of his hard work. The cycle will be repeated year after year. Just like the seasons existing in nature, there exist four seasons in life also. Winter season in life is characterized by heartbreak, sadness, loneliness, sickness, etc. So, when you experience winter in real life whether it be seasonal or personal, things will look difficult and out of control.

  3. During winter people are often found to be in two situations. Either prepared to face it or unprepared for facing it. A person who has followed the seasons in his life diligently and harvested well in the fall, winter can be easier for him and you might get more time to take rest. If you have not harvested well in the fall, the winter will become a preparation time for the coming seasons. Winter is considered as the best time to prepare.
