  3. Introduction • Background • A case in 2007, a truck was legally parked outside alone on the street, then a man riding a motorcycle bumped into the truck and the rider passed away. The family member asked the truck owner to take the responsibility • The judgment announced that the truck owner should take the responsibility for this accident • In such cases, we develop the parking warning light to protect the drivers like the truck owner • There are more detailed explanation and law information as follow

  4. Product Features • Surface • Installed on rear bumpers and match every bumper style • Power supply • Equipped with battery inside and apply solar power or the power from car (when the side light on) • Easy operation • The sensor is automatic operation when the parking lights turned on or off.

Product Features • Moving • If the weather is cloudy with bad visibility, the parking lights will turn on the warning system automatically • Parking • When you parking alone on the street in the nighttime, the parking lights will automatically turn on the LED and twinkle continuously to warn vehicles behind • We have two kinds of products based on different surface and installation • 3 in 1 and Embedded parking warning light

Function Description • When the parking light on, the LED will be twinkling continuously • The sensor will detect the input signals automatically as 2 conditions below to decide to be acted or not • Detects the car signal* • Detects the environment LUX under 30 units • Operate Mode: • Turn Off Mode(Recharge) When the side light on or driving during the day (Solar Panel) • Parking Mode(LEDtwinkling) Usually in a dark place or parking in the nighttime *The car signal means 12V input.

Function Description • Recharge Mode • Either solar energyorcar signal is input, it turnsinto the recharge mode immediately • If both signals input at the same time, the car signal will be taken precedence • Start Mode • When solar energy and car signal are not input, the parking light mode starts • This function will be stopped when the hyper capacitance out of energy • When detecting the sources(solar or car signal) at any time it will return to the recharge mode

Function Description • Above functions integrate as the table below: • Off:As single source of condition is tenable Either one is available • (LUXhigher than 30 units or 12Vinput) • On: As single source of condition is tenable None input source is available • (LUX under 30 units andNone 12V input)

  9. Function Description • Solar Energy • Supply the auto-sensor and get the power from itself • The size is 125mm(L)x48mm(W)x8mm(T) (Mostly installed under the windshield)

  10. Function Description • Controlling Box • On/off switch for user to decide whether to turn on the parking warning light (Mostly installed in the back trunk) Switch OFF ON

  11. Type of Products • 3 in 1 Parking Warning Light • Match bumper style to install • The 3 in 1 function are side lights, brake lights and parking lights

  12. Type of Products • Embedded Type • Installed on rear bumper, the appearance is as same as reversing sensor • It can match all car models

  13. Conclusion • In the future • DEFEND GROUP place a lot of emphasis on R&D and producing the car anti-theft system and related safety products • We development the parking warning lights to protect the drivers’ safety • By the products, we hope it could reduce the rate of car accident
