Start of Stepping Stones in Guam • November 2009 the Stepping Stones Program started in the North Pacific Islands with Chuuk one of the States in the Federated States of Micronesia, along was two Chuukese females residing in Guam attended the training • April 2010 two Chuukese males attended the same training of SS Facilitators in Fiji to join with the two females in implementing SS • May 2010 the Guam SS team had a training the SS M&E toolkits • August 2010 Budget for the Guam SS program was established and was in the final stage of processing till September • Despite the delay of the budget, the Guam SS team has already did a few introduction/campaigns on SS to some of the Communities/Churches/Youths/and other Chuukese Organizations

Meetings with Community introducing SS • First recruitment meeting for SS rollout to females • January 12th 2010 • Outreach Activities for STD/HIV and Promoting SS to Chuukese Communities and at Micronesian Venues targeting Chuukese • May 29th 2010 (Karmen’s Club) • July 9th -10th 2010 (Leo Palace, Chuuk Track & Field) • July 24th 2010 (Chuukese Community in GilBaza) • September 11, 2010 (Westin Outreach) • September 25, 2010 (Astumbo Gym) • Meeting with potential participants and community/organization leaders for SS recruitment • October 9th 2010 • October 12th 2010 • First Open Community Meeting • October 23rd 2010
