    2. 2 The report on the company working hours projects is intended to answer the following questions

    3. 3 The basic principle for implementing the company working hours projects consists in the results of the wage agreement negotiations as of 31.01.2009. The agreed working hours provisions are intended to optimise deployment conditions. The results of the wage negotiations also stipulate that company working hours projects are to be offered and implemented. Projects are to be offered on the company level for structural improvement of the duty plans, giving due consideration to reconciling working life and the family. The collective bargaining parties and the works councils are to be involved in this process. The aim is for the working hour provisions to be organised continuously on site and optimised jointly with the employees at the deployment sites. Responsibility for the individual company working hours projects lies with the Business Units (BU). Basic understanding and background information about the company working hours projects

    4. 4 Basic understanding and background information about the company working hours projects The department Tariff and Social Policy (HBT) has drawn up and coordinated a project structure and project template. Binding use of the project template is necessary to ensure mandatory implementation and use by all the parties of certain project steps and project modules that are necessary for the success of the project, and for the quality and acceptance of the project results. The working hours pilots should focus on core functions working in shifts and alternating shifts.
