  1. Seeing the Unseen A CSR Activity from Zeal Education

  2. What is it? • A CSR Activity where Zeal DigiScope™ School Kits are given to schools, along with training. • Each kit consists of • 5 Zeal DigiScopes, • 7 posters, • a teacher’s handbook, • a set of 12 slides and • a sample box. • 2 hours of training, conducted for groups of 10 schools.

  3. What is a Zeal DigiScope? • A Digital Microscope. • It is a Microscope: which means you can see tiny objects! • It is Digital: which means that you see the image on a screen, not by peering through a tube! • It is from Zeal, which means it has been selected for its quality and pedagogical uses!

  4. Why a DigiScope? • Conventional microscopes are heavy, difficult to handle. • The DigiScope is lightweight and so easy to handle, even a 8 year old can use it. • Only one person can use a conventional microscope at a time. • Since the DigiScope shows the image on a screen, a group of students can see the image simultaneously. In fact, connect the Scope to a projector and an entire class can see the image!

  5. Why a DigiScope? • With a conventional microscope, teachers need to prepare slides or buy them. • With the DigiScope, just place the scope on whatever you want to see and voila! • With a conventional microscope, students have to wait for their turn! • With a DigiScope, no waiting in queues!

  6. Why a DigiScope? • Use the DigiScope to view common, everyday stuff: • Food Items • Sand and Soil • Currency Notes • Flowers and Seeds • Insects • Fibres • Cloth • Stationery • Coloured Displays • Skin and Hair • No need to buy expensive slides!

  7. What would the school need? • PC or Laptop running any version of Windows: xp to 10 supported • Should have USB port or CD drive • No special training required for using the DigiScope • No special power requirements: LED lamps on DigiScope draw power from USB port

  8. Special Changes for CSR program • All documentation, posters and booklet in local language • All boxes to have labels with Sponsor’s Logo and name • During training program, teachers will actually install software in PCs and use the DigiScope, gaining first hand experience!

  9. Seeing the Unseen Cost: Rs. 2,00,000 for 10 schools. For more details, please contact Zeal Educational Services Pvt. Ltd., E4 and F2, Vishwakarma Society, Jodhpur Cross Roads, Ahmedabad 380015. Call: 9825197619, 9824038938, 7043038883. Email: zeal.mscope@gmail.com
