Sometimes even when people wake up, alarm unnecessarily vibrates. • 1. It rings when we are sleeping. • 2. It does not ring when we wake up. • 3. It will ring again even if we fall asleep after turning the clock off. • The alarm doesn’t have the ability to recognize whether the person felt asleep or not. • Smart enough alarm clock.

Concept Building Process Changes of Brain Waves - Depends on how deep you sleep, your brain waves change from alpha wave to delta waves. 1 Changes of Body Temperature - Body temperature goes down when you fall asleep. 2 Changes of Blood Pressure - Blood pressure drops when you are sleeping. 3 Changes of Body Movement - You’ll automatically move your body when you lie on the bed and take a sleep. 4

  16. Prototype Location • Mat-style design • Placed between a bed frame and a mattress. Reasons Uninstalling should be hard  If it could be uninstalled with ease, it would also be easy to turn off the alarm. Aesthetic purpose  If the product can be seen, it might hurt the aesthetic design of a bed or other sleeping gears.

Alarm bell rings when there is a pressure above the threshold during the active time zone . Remote controller is not supposed to work during the active time zone. For pressure sensing points, pressure detectable textile will be used The mat and remote controller is connected. Buzzer embedded in the remote controller. Designed to use battery as the power source.

E.g. 7:00-8:30 am - Alarm clock works only during the active time Remote controller lock? - The purpose of the product is to wake you up “for real”. - You cannot change the time settings during theATZ, in order to prevent you from falling asleep again. - You must wake up to turn off the alarm. Settings for threshold - Only above certain weight, the alarm will work. - If there is no proper threshold, alarm will not stop and keep go on and on (False alarm). - If the threshold is too high, alarm will never work even if you are still sleeping on the bed (Miss). 65Kg 5Kg
