Telephones’development~About Bell • The Bell family was originally from Scotland where Alexander was born in 1847. Both his grandfather and father trained Alex in public speaking and teaching the deaf to speak. His mother was deaf so he had a deep desire to help those who couldn’t hear. He studied anatomy(解剖学) and physiology（生理学）which gave him a background of understanding as to how the ear hears sounds. • Later, he traveled with his family to Ontario(安大略), Canada. The family continued their work in the research of hearing. Alex then moved to the United States to become a professor of vocal (有声的) physiology at Boston University. There he experimented with transmitting speech by electricity. In 1875, he discovered the principle (原理) that allowed him to send wound over an electric wire. On March 6, 1876, he tried an experiment of sending a message to his assistant in the next room. He said, “Mr. Waston, come here. I want you.” Mr. Waston, come here. I want you.” Mr. Waston responded and told Alex that he heard him over the wire.
So we can see that Bell invented the telephone very by accident.In fact the telephone he invented couldn’t be used at first. • Until three weeks later,Bell used other person’idea to invented the real first telephone.
Then,I will talk about the advanced mobiles phone. • Since Bell invented the first telephone,The telephone developed more and more faster, • It became more and more smaller,more and more useful.Now,some new mobiles phones can enter into the internet,it’s very convenient. • But Computer hackers now got their hands on mobile phone.A phone virus programme can make your phone do things you have no control over,computer security experts sat.It might call the white house or police,or forward your personal address book to marketing company. You can see it’s very dangerous. • So,I’ll say,science which take us convenient can also take us dangerous.
