  3. ¶ 120. The Mission The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Local churches and extension ministries of the Church provide the most significant arenas through which disciple-making occurs… ~ BOD-2016

Rationale for Our Mission The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by proclaiming the good news of God’s grace and by exemplifying Jesus’ command to love God and neighbor, thus seeking the fulfillment of God’s reign and realm in the world. The fulfillment of God’s reign and realm in the world is the vision Scripture holds before us… ~BOD 2016

FAN THE FLAME AND INVOLVE YOUR MEMBERS ENLIST FOLKS TO WORK ON MAKING VISITOR PACKETS OR SMALL BAGS OR BASKETS WHICH CAN BE HANDED TO VISITORS WHEN THEY ARE ACKNOWLEDGED ITEMS TO INCLUDE: * Church Brochure with information and details about Church, Ministries and Pastoral Staff * Have Coffee Mugs created and include in Visitor’s Packet/Bag/Basket * Order Pens made with the Church Name, Address, Website and Telephone Number * Homemade Candies and Cookies are a way of being remembered [YUM]!] * Include a Business Card and a Listing of Members of the Welcome Committee
