  6. Problem Solving • Drew has 4 pieces of rope 1 meter long each. He cuts each rope into fifths. • A. How many fifths will he have after cutting all the ropes? • B. How long with each of the fifths be in centimeters?

  7. Problem Solving • Two wires, one 17.4 m long and one 7.5 m long, were cut into 0.3 m long. How many such pieces can be made from both wires?

  8. Problem Solving: Scaling • Jason is drawing the floor plan of his bedroom. He is drawing everything that is one-twelfth of the actual size. His bed measures 6 ft by 3 ft, and the room measures 14 ft by 16 ft. What are the dimensions of his bed and room in his drawing?
