  2. Monday, December 13th Warm-ups Locate the verb in each of these sentences. Then, using the first letter of each verb, find the answer to the question at the bottom of the slide. • The man watered his flowers every morning. • Happiness has its many pleasures. • Eventually Eddie enlisted in the army. • Neither a borrower nor a lender needs additional advice. • A cat inched its way toward the mouse. • These creatures terrified the smaller rodent. • Many players intimidate their opponents before the game. • Our coach shuffled the players in and out of the game. • The humorous teacher added the numbers on the blackboard. • Joseph justified his actions to the committee members. • She answered the questions on the difficult examination. • Mary replied quite readily.
