Instrumentation of Capacity Building in Education

Primarily, capacity building is related to the strengthening of ability of people or institute to get involved in procedures for better functioning. Definition of capacity building in UNDP, 2002 stated as- Capacity is “the ability of people, institutions and societies to perform functions, solve problems, and set and achieve objectives.” <br><br>Most commonly, Capacity Building is viewed as matter that takes into consideration building of organizational efficiency. Improving hierarchy of bureaucracy, and management of organization and participation of each member of hierarchy could improve capability. Similarly, educational system involves a linkage that need to work efficiently, and teachers-students link is the most important in the hierarchy. It, therefore, becomes crucial to evolve the link of student-teacher and build it stronger to achieve objective of better education in the nation.<br><br><br>A capacity building programme is developed for improved learning and teaching practices and techniques that centralizes accretion of skills and knowledge of teachers. With the program teachers are enabled to use ICT as a tool of education. Successful implementation of capacity building enables institution to lay down objectives, achieve them, enabling reconciling procedures and solve problems. <br> <br>When it comes to capacity building in educational sphere, it is focused that the educators, we have, in our schools, colleges or universities must be well acknowledged to address the vagueness of students. Capacity building involves learning of an individual in terms of skills, knowledge and, most importantly, use of resources for advanced teaching. <br><br>Capacity building program for better teaching techniques could be displayed as a flow map<br><br>Framework depending on certain objectives of capacity building program: Everything that starts have some objective, so does have program of capacity building in teaching practices. Montessori classroom reflects a culture of mixed age classroom that provides students an independent environment to learn where students learn different concepts through working models and paradigms.
