Interlocks • Hardwired internal interlocks • Only standard ‘trip on over-current’ • Automatic trip recovery is desirable • Hardwired cross-system interlocks • Interlock HV and LV on problems in cooling and/or gas systems, environmental parameters (e.g. temperature) or general alarm in the area DCS Workshop

  10. Interlocks • Hardwired actions are not foreseen • Software interlocks • HV can only be ramped up if LV is on (per quadrant) • LV can only be on if gas and cooling OK • Software should take care of respecting correct order DCS Workshop
