  3. Recruitment Updates • Chief Nursing Officer • Pathology Chair • Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery Chief

  4. Quality Council Changes • Reconstitute the Quality Council membership with the Clinical Chairs, the Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Medical Officers, Chief Operating Officers and the VPs of IT. • Donna Katen-Bahensky, CEO UWHC and Jeff Grossman, MD, CEO UWMF chairing Quality Council. • UW Health Quality and Safety Leaders will staff the committee. • PFCC representation on committee. • Quality Council will meet eight times a year on the 3rd Wednesday of the month starting March 16. • Remaining four months, the Council of Chairs will devote a second monthly meeting to Quality.

UW Health Organ Procurement Organization Recognition HHS Gold Medal of Honor • Of the 58 OPOs in the country, only 8 received this award • For simultaneous achievement in all three outcome categories: • Conversion rate • Organs transplanted per donor • Donation after cardiac death Silver Medal • Achieving a 97.6 percent conversion rate • 32.5 percent donation after cardiac death rate DONATE
