Travel ArrangementsAvensis Coaches TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS • OUTWARD • Meet at Westgate 12 non Saturday 30TH June 2012 • Depart Westgate 12.30 on Saturday 30th June 2012 • Depart Dover 4.30PM • Arrive Mimosa Morning 1st July 2012 ON ARRIVAL AT SCHOOL PLEASE HAND IN MEDICINES AND MONEY TO THE RELEVANT MEMBER OF STFF. • RETURN • Depart Segries 7pm on Saturday 7th July 2012 • Arrive Westgate approx 11am Sunday 8th July 2012

  3. Journey • Small piece of luggage for the coach (plus pillow):- food, entertainment, toothbrush etc. • Piece of luggage for the hold. Soft bags only. Please do not pack too much space is limited. • Recommend pupils eat a hot meal on the ferry ( euros/sterling) • Need snacks for the evening and following morning. • Keep a small amount of euros/sterling for the journey stops will be made en route.

  4. Mimosa • Site on the Mediterranean coast. • Staying in tents. • 3 days of activities. • Dinghy sailing, windsurfing, body boarding snorkelling, long boats, catamaran sailing. • 3 good meals a day. • Visit to nearby Cape D’Agde on our final evening. • Aqualand

  5. SAFETY • Safety- safety helmets and buoyancy aids are worn for every activity and instructors hold current governing body qualifications. Ratios are set by the governing body. Ratio of 1:8 en route. • PGL are in charge during activities with an official handing over to school staff. • Risk assessments and insurance policy are available for you to look at. • Evening entertainment is organised by PGL and during the night site is secure and security guards patrol the site throughout the night. • French speakers available on site 24hrs a day.

  6. Segries • Travel north to the Ardeche region. • Pupils staying in a french farmhouse with dormitories. • Smaller site with Swimming pool. • 3 day descent of the Ardeche river in two person canoes.
