  4. Parents as Partners • When parents and families are actively engaged as partners with teachers and administrators in the educational process, children do well.

  5. Agents of Change • Children who see their parents invest time and energies in the school, are transformed by that knowledge.

  6. Learning Beyond the School Building • Parent involvement in the school creates a learning environment which transcends the school building, and integrates the family.
