This grant program provides funding to colleges in support of a Career Coach who offers guidance to K-12 students and adults. Funding can be used for instructor training, student registration, and assessment costs.

CAREER COACH • What is the Career Coach grant? • Provides funds to the college to support a Career Coach • The career coach provides guidance to both K-12 and adults • New requirements will be communicated in the following months for specific outcomes and professional development of the career coach.

  4. How can funding be used? • Instructor Authorization Training • Student Registration and Assessment costs

April 23, 2019 - FY20 Grant Proposers webinar • July 5, 2019 - Grants Due to ACCS from Regional Councils • August 1, 2019 - Sector Expert Committee Review (Tentative) • September 11, 2019 - Board of Trustees Work Session • October 9, 2019 - Board of Trustees Meeting • November 1, 2019 - Award Letters Mailed (Tentative)

  7. Prior Year Grant Evaluations • Update of FY18 Grants • Regional Workforce Council Liaisons

  8. Applications are EMAILED to ACCS by July 5, 2019 • Verify completion and notify project contacts and council chair of receipt • Initial review of application by Workforce Development Division Review Team • If applicable, the Sector Expert Committee will review, score and recommend funding) • Recommendations are made to the Chancellor for Special Population awards and to the Board of Trustees for ICI awards • Award Letters and Grant Agreements are generated and once signed by the Chancellor, documents are emailed to president, business office and project contacts
