This project aims to enhance the Universal Planning Cycle for Community-based Coastal Resilience (CCR) by improving assessment, problem identification, prioritization, and implementation of action plans. It includes steps such as validating findings, conducting problem identification discussions, and defining actions, responsible parties, resources, and timelines.

Steps to CCR Action Plans (1) • Report Back to Community • Validate Findings and Inform Community • Fill gaps • Correct as needed • Brainstorm Next Steps (Action Plan “Lite” or Concept, Recommendations, More?) • Conduct Problem Identification Discussion • What issues of resilience emerge from findings? • In open forum? • With relevant community committees? • Within your organization?

Steps to CCR Action Plans (3) • Drafting Action Plans (or Concepts “Lite”) • Define Context of other Programs • Define Actions (short, med, long term) • Define Responsible Parties • Define Resources Available & Budgets • Define Time Lines and Key Events • Define Work Plan (Implementation Plan) • Socialize, Get commitments
