Sending requests to 3 companies • Sanyo / Denso / Daikin / Itomic • All of them are suppliers of CO2 compressors for Water heater. • The first three companies are major in home use heaters. • I did not know Itomic,they sell water heaters for building, and this company gave me a friendly phone call. • I guess one standard unit is enough to remove heat of 1 kW.

  3. Results • All four companies can not sell the compressors only. • Instead we can buy as a water heater product from either companies. • Price is around 1M Yen ~ 10 k Euro. • We can buy them from some agent or electronics shop and disassemble.

  4. A discussion at IDM • In the last inter-detector meeting, there was a following discussion: • Before adopt the CO2 cooling, we need to show that the water cooling is not applicable and the CO2 cooling is indispensable (or superior to water) from viewpoint of physics.
