  2. Simile Fun Edward was as fast as a thunder bolt. Spencer was so mad it looked like flames was coming out of his mouth. Simon was hitting the ball so hard that it looked like rocks were charging at the opponents Edward and Spencer were pressing the buttons so fast it looked as if they had eight hands.

  4. Friend of Humanity • Thomas Alva Edison was a great scientist so let me tell you about it. Thomas Edison was born on Feb. 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. He was home schooled by his mother. When he was 7 he moved to Port Huron. • He sold newspapers to earn money. When he was 12 years old, he became a train boy at the Port Huron’s Railroad. One day, he was running to the train, and then the train man yelled at him for being late and grabbed him by the ear. He felt something in his head break, and he began to go deaf.   5. Math • My favorite kind of math is multiplication. I like it because you feel like you can do it. I also like it because its challenging. I also found a secret about multiplication, its just like adding.

  6. Reading I like reading because I get really in to the book and always try to predict. I can imagine pictures when there is none and its really fun to get to learn new things. Its fun to get to do some activities in the book.

  7. Halloween When is Halloween? It’s when spooky bats are flying at midnight and dead zombies rage out of the grave yard. Its when scary kids go trick-or-treating and ghosts have a ghoul of a good scare. Then its Halloween! By Edward Xie
