- Baseline Requirements Document generated and distributed (outlined previously at G4 Space Users Workshop) QinetiQ/S&DU/Space/0602287
- Lists the requirements from the perspective of incident particle species, energies, target nuclei as a function of application of the models

- Key requirement considered to address >5GeV/nuc to 100’s GeV/nuc nuclear-nuclear interactions, including full treatment of nuclear fragments
- Review also conducted of published data about the models, such as BME, LAQGSM, DPMJET2.5, DPMJET3, :

- Differences observed in output from DPMJET 2.5 and DPMJET-3, based on FLUKA simulations
- Little difference (within statistics) to 2x
- Instances where difference is 6x
- Is the level of difference correlated with energy (158 GeV/nuc for many cases where agreement if good)?
