  2. Inventions This was the newly invented telephone. Most people found this confusing but eventually they got the hang of it. It was Invented by Alexander Bell in 1876. This camera was invented by William Henry Fox Talbot in 1833.I think it would be very complicated! Inventions made then and used today! Home page!

  3. Work house life As you can see conditions where really bad and the children were used as slaves to make food or other items A work house is a very tall building for children who have no home or parents. But it wasn’t a nice place not at all! The only thing the children eat was gruel which was very easily made. Some children went mad for nice food! Chores! Home page!

  4. Schools This is some of the equipment Victorian children would use in school. Teachers where very strict and always found a punishment for a naughty child! Punishments! Home page!

  5. Inventions made then used today <- See the difference? -> Made in 2006 Made in 1833 -- Made in 2001 Made in 1825 Click on this to find out a bit more! Back

  6. Chores As you can see children hated chores put they had to do them to get pay to fee their family. On poor wages children never argued about it they would get what we get in a year what we would get in a week! This is also one of the chores the children used to do. It looks hard but its still a poor pay. Sad music track Back

  7. Punishments What is this boy doing you may ask but this child hasn’t choose to do this he’s been naughty in class and has been ordered to wear the dunces cap in the corner of the room .The dunces cap represents that the child has been punished. Children also had to write lines on a slate with chalk. I bet it got annoying after a while ! Back
