  1. What Is Phenol and How Is It Used? Phenol is an organic compound. It is toxic to use on own, and it is there in small quantities in many household products. Mouthwash and spray cleaners contain the chemical compound. Pure phenol is colourless or white and smells sugary and makes you feel as if you are in a hospital. It is available for several medical and health-related uses. Many phenol manufacturers in India produce it for industrial usage. How Can Phenol Be Used? Pure phenol is used in medical procedures and as an ingredient in the treatments of different kinds. Phenol injection is used for muscles to treat muscular spasticity. It happens when it is not communicating correctly to the spinal cord and nerves. It makes the muscles tight. The medical condition creates a problem in walking and talking usually.
