  2. Custom Report Generator - Advanced Once you’ve created a custom report, you can: • Modify it • Email it • Send it to Excel

  3. Modifying a Report • You can modify a report as soon as you run it. • You can modify saved reports. • There’s no limit to how many times you can modify a report.

  4. Modifying a Report You can modify any report from the report screen. You can modify a saved report from the Custom Tab.

  5. Modifying a Report The modifying screens look and work just like the report creation screens. Just add or delete something…

  7. Modifying a Report ModifyingSummary • You can modify saved custom reports, or those you are working with at the moment. • The report will use current patt data each time you open or run it.

Emailing a Report • To share custom report formats, save them to patt and email a link. • Following the link runs the report in the recipient's patt account. • When the recipient opens the report, it runs using current patt data. • Different offices or different security levels may not see the same report data.

  16. Sending to Excel • You can do limited data manipulation in patt… • But Excel is better for any advanced sorting or calculations. • Saving a custom report as an Excel file captures the data generated by the report.

  18. Sending to Excel You can choose whether to open the report or save it to your computer.

  19. Sending to Excel If you open the report, it will open inside Internet Explorer and you may not have all the Excel tools.
