Project Goals • Establish new branding and identity for MMC’s internet based marketing & sales software. • Creation of an attractive and dynamic “shell” which can be easily modified to reflect their individual client’s branded colors and overall look & feel. • Achieve a design which is non-stressful for users vision during prolonged viewing. • Re-organization of menu’s and submenu’s to better meet the demands of the software and eliminate unnecessary scrolling. • Encourage the use of more profitable features of the program to increase traffic to those sections. • Incorporated the listed items above for the new Sales Assist program which MMC inc. will be introducing to a new market.

  3. Corporate Branding The shell which each client’s information will be inserted into has the ability to easily adapt to that particular client’s branded colors. Each installation of the program will have its own unique look & feel which will be customized for that client. An ambient fade effect at the top of the page as well as the left sidebar are both customizable for each client. The menu’s colors are also capable of customization.

  4. Easy Customization The shell is easily customizable using a photoshop layer template for the color fade at the top of the design and CSS attributes for the left sidebar and menu. All unique files will be stored in a folder created for each individual client.

  5. Reduced Eyestrain All aspects of the re-design will be created to reduce eyestrain for prolonged viewing periods. This will be achieved through ambient gradient fades, drop-shadows and large, user-friendly icons familiar to the Windows XP environment. Buttons will have a “glassy” look to them to further reduce eyestrain and establish fluidity.

  6. Organization The basic structure of the program will be re-organized to better meet the needs of the client. Menus which once cluttered the left sidebar will be made into drop-down menus with simple mouseovers. Tables will be re-organized for display purposes in order to eliminate left to right scrolling. This reorganization will allow for certain items to flow throughout the site and encourage the use of the shopping cart feature.

  7. Load Time Load time for the site is minimized by using repeated background images and also through the use of intelligent CSS style sheets. The program will also be completely cross-browser compatible.
