  7. What is an EPSS? Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS) Defined as: “An electronic performance support facility that is able to access and manipulate large amounts of task-related information in order to provide workers with a dynamic task mentoring and problem solving capability as well as opportunities for continuous learning.”

Competency Models • Captures the degree of proficiency a user has with a specific skill or operational objective. • Users will either possess or not possess competencies. • Certain activities will require a set of competencies to enable a user to successfully complete the package. • Static vs. Dynamic competencies.
