Marcela Kane - Education

Marcela Kane is currently the Senior Manager of International Tax at Halliburton, a role that she has excelled in since January 2015. She was born in Lima, Peru in 1974, moving to Bogota, Colombia four years later. She then went on to live in Quinto, Ecuador with her mother and grandfather, who is renowned journalist and writer Carlos Villar-Borda, between 1982 and 1984, before returning to Bogota.

  1. Marcela Kane Education Before she began her career as an international tax professional, Marcela Kane studied at Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1999, along with her Masters in Tax. She then went on to continue her studies at the University of Houston in Texas, where she received her Masters in Law (LLM) in the year 2000.
