  2. COLOR SONGS Red is the colour of my fayorite rose. Green is the colour of the things that grows. Yellow is the colour of the sun that shine, way way up in the Blue blue sky. Jesus teach me how to colour, Jesus teach me how to colour, Jesus teach me how to colour, Colour my world with love.

  3. COLOR GAMESLollipops Directions to make lollipops... Cut three inch circles from construction paper (red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and purple.) Make three of each color. Glue craft sticks to each colored circle to make a lollipop. Have the children sit in a circle. One child is "it" and skips around the circle holding the lollipops in a coffee can while the other children chant. (Skip To My Lou) Lollipops, lollipops, yum, yum, yum. Lollipops, lollipops, yum, yum, yum. Lollipops, lollipops, yum, yum, yum. Please come over and give me some. It stops in front of a child who closes their eyes and picks out a lollipop. If the child guesses the correct color then they may take a turn being "it."

  4. COOKIE COLORS Make different colored cookies (fun foam with decorations on top) and sing this song:Down around the corner at the bakery shopThere were 10 little cookies with sugar on top.Along came Sally with a penny to payAnd she took a (color word) one away.

  5. COLOR HAT BOOKMake a color hat book.  It could be eight pages.  Use 1/2 pages.  Copy one style of hat or use different types.  Each page will have a color on it.  Children can paint, color, glue tissue paper or any art method you want.  The words on each page should be the same except for the color word. Title page : I Have A Hat  ( this is page 1) page 2: I have a red hat. page 3: I have an orange hat. page 4: I have a yellow hat. page 5: I have a green hat. page 6: I have a blue hat. page 7: I have a purple hat. page 8: I have a rainbow hat!
