  3. Impact on staff Indirect effects • Student demand – ‘customer’ culture • Administrative consolidation • Collaboration – teaching, research, administration • Accountability – governance, management, higher education information management

  4. Impact on staff Transition to the new system • Some universities gain dollars, some lose • Will there be a diversity of student fees? • Will there be diversity in dependence on international income ? • Will there be diversity in the mix of teaching and research ?
