  1. Assessment of our Self-made Bulletin Board Our bulletin board is: nice neat informative well-designed content fits our viewers (Grade Three pupils) subject-oriented well laid out with appropriate graphical representation of the lesson with biblical passage and announcement

  2. Our design is effective on student learning since it is lesson oriented with pictures. We designed in it in a way that it will be easily understood and retained by the viewers. We created the bulletin board as a tool not just to convey announcements but to display the one week lesson for English subject thus making the students ready for the lesson. Ours is better than theirs.

  3. Saddam Bazer, Clarity, creativity, color harmony, and understandable presentation are just some of the factors that affect the effectiveness of bulletin board as one of the Learning resources. First is clarity, when we say clarity it should be readable, friendly to the eyes and eye catching in the sense that when a learner unintentionally passes by to bulletin boards’ area, he or she will automatically stops and somehow reads it since it is eye catcher which actually attains one of the aims of having a bulletin board (to present or convey information or messages). Second is creativity, in this, it should be innovative meaning you make simple things to extraordinary in an inexpensive way, it’s like making “rags to riches”, it should be simple but elegant type of presentation. Third, we have color harmony which should have proper organization of color i.e. pleasant to the eyes. Fourthly is what I called “understandable presentation”, meaning the content of bulletin board is understandable and that the flow of information is in proper order and the words that are being used are simple and comprehendible to all kinds of learners. Considering these factors somehow we could honestly say that making bulletin board is not that easy, we have a lot of things to be considered before mounting a particular bulletin board. And with these observations, hopefully and someday we could make a well made bulletin board which is useful in giving information, tasks, messages, announcements, updates and other school matters: clubs, organizations, and etc. to our future learners since it is truly very helpful in facilitating teacher-learning process.   4. Honey SwiertLarayos Everything that we see inside the classroom affect the kind of learning that our pupils have. In the case of the bulletin board, when it is lesson based, it could enhance the retention of the students with the aid of graphical representation. According to studies, it was stated that children learn more with what they see. This would mean that when we place a lesson based display in the strategic location of our classroom, the students will understand more the concepts taught by the teachers. For example, in English class with the lesson "cause and effect" for Grade Three, with the pictures for cause and effect, the students can clearly distinguish the difference of these two things, thus confusion is lessened. For the theme based, like organization based bulletin board displays, these develop the student's awareness of the services, opportunities and activities offered to them. It will make them an informative reader who knows how to deduce the important information stated in the display and be able to share it with their classmates, friends and parents. With the things that the bulletin board can provide, it is of great need that teachers should carefully plan the design and the things that will be posted in it. The needs of the students that the display can answer should be correctly addressed. The written information and graphical representation should be well tailored so that the viewers can only get the things that is intended for them to know, learn and retain. For a creative and innovative teacher, a bulletin board will always be a part of his/her classroom. As for the school, it will never be complete without the bulletin board. A bulletin board is like an encapsulated newspaper where students can get information in a flash. It is easy to find and always posted! Reflection

They can serve a number of purposes: provide information for students, serve as a learning center, and of course display student work. You can find bulletin board ideas for all subject areas, seasons, birthdays, special events and more. These bulletin boards come straight from the classrooms of teachers around the globe. The uniqueness and the design of the bulletin board is one of the he factors affect the effectiveness of bulletin boards as learning resources. We should advocate the use of bulletin boards for everybody to be aware and inform what’s happening in the schools, on what are the current achievements or accomplishments and activities in a certain area and subject. For this, bulletin boards must be colorful to catch attention, in a proper place in school for the student to read; informative and organized, font must be in a readable size and well laid out. You can also post in a bulletin board the benefits of the students if they got the highest score in quizzes or exam, by this; you are encouraging students to do their best in their academic performance. Posting coming events in a bulletin board captivate interest of the students. All in all bulletin board display promote power teaching. Reflection
