  2. Overview The Tecom IP Receiver is a server which provides a cost-effective and secure method to monitor Challenger panels over IP networks. Advantages: • Remove phone line and call costs • Greater security with fully encrypted communication • Increased reliability and security with constantly polled connection. Your monitoring provider will know straight away if communications are lost • No waiting for modems to dial and connect

Features Panel functionality • Communicates to up to 500 panels • Supports connectivity to Challenger10 and Challenger V8 panels • AES128/256 bit encrypted communications (Challenger10 only) • Panel time synchronisation • Constantly polled connection to Challenger panels (with user-defined poll rate)

Features Flexible connectivity • Outputs standard Contact ID / Ademco 685 format to allow communication with most alarm monitoring software packages • Supports connection to the OnGuard access control package as an alarm receiver • Connect to alarm automation software via RS-232 or Ethernet • Receiver failover/redundancy capability • Works simultaneously with Tecom management software (Titan, Security Commander, Forcefield)
