  2. Where is Afghanistan? Location: Southern Asia, North West of Pakistan, East of Iran. -Land Locked. -Hindu Kush mountains that run Northeast to Southwest divide the northern provinces from the rest of the country.

  4. Mixture Highest Point: 7,500m approximately Lowest Point: 260m approximately Natural Hazards: earthquakes, flooding, avalanches. Environmental issues: limited fresh water, deforestation, water pollution.

(Wikipedia) • GDP of Afghanistan stands at 29 billion dollars. which was one of the lowest in the world. • Unemployment rate at 35%. • About 42% of the people live under $1 a day. • Afghanistan ranks 169 out of 185 in the world GDP index.
