Entry Criteria - Undergraduate Programmes Admissions Office apply criteria set by the School Criteria for 2012-13 (Main-cycle up to 15 January 2013) Intake already collected Normally based on UCAS Tariff points Criteria should apply to applications made between 1 Sept – 15 January “Gathered Field” Criteria may change for applications made after 15 January

  25. Entry Criteria - Undergraduate Programmes Clearing criteria may change as required and may go up or down. Summer University courses may not be used as conditions of offer. You can decide if GCSE results must already be held at the point of offer This has an impact on deciding when to close a programme Rejection criteria can be set, and applied by Admissions If a School wishes to see all applications to a specific programme write “Pass to School” on the criteria spreadsheet

  29. UCAS Tariff http://www.ucas.ac.uk/he_staff/quals/ucas_tariff/tariffUCAS are currently reviewing the use of the Tariff AS awarded after 1 year of study. A2 awarded after 2 years of study. AS points can be used only if there are no A2 points in that subject. If a student progresses from AS to A2 in that subject only the A2 points may be counted
