  4. IGC • DOD ITV System of Record • Single Source of integrated ITV Data • Brings data from multiple systems into a single data warehouse • Customers have ability to review: • Raw data • Data by transport mode • Integrated data

IGC • Allows Customers to build operational pictures easier • Use of Business Intelligence tools • Customizable reports and dashboards created for individual access, based on information requirements • Customers have the ability to use standard queries or create customizable queries and dashboards • Instead of a customer accessing 5 (or more) different systems for data, and hand-manipulating the information, they go to one source -- IGC

BI COE • Business Intelligence Center of Excellence • Single Face to the Customer • Initial entry point to IGC for: • Training Requests • New Requirements • Business Intelligence Tools: Customized Reports, Dashboards, and Alerts • Works with Customer to Implement required Capability • Customer can be a COCOM, Service, or Agency • Work with client from “Cradle to Grave”

  10. New Requirements • Customer completes Requirement Summary Form and submits to BI COE • Develop/negotiate User Requirements Document jointly with BI COE Functional • Customer provides MIPR to IGC PMO • Receives development effort status reports

  11. Rapid Development • In-house ability to deliver capabilities quickly • Rapid production! Two weeks or less to develop • Dashboards, Web Services, Reports, Universe Development, Alerts • Already developed dashboards, alerts, and reports for EUCOM, TCJ3, TCJ5/4, NOLSC, NAVSUPSYSCOM, NAVSUP

Education and Training • Multiple training delivery methods • Mobile Training Team (hands-on) • Computer Based Training • Defense Connect On-Line (DCO) • BI COE • MTT schedule and instructions for requesting training on IGC front page • Long-term focus maximizing the power of IGC • Level 200 & 300 training projected for FY-12 • IGC Newsletter • Currently published monthly (migrating soon to bi-monthly) • Source of IGC updates, new capabilities, & enterprise issues
