  3. Learning Objectives Examine effectiveness and efficiency of time and management styles and organizing methods. Figure out roadblocks to effectively managing your time Always be proactive to minimize interruptions Establish goals and priorities for more effective time management and workplace organization. Apply information learned to personal situations LEARN from EVERYONE

Traits • Hopper- easily distracted, enjoy a variety & change of pace, desire immediate gratification, like to feel busy • Perfectionist Plus- have a hard time distinguishing between high standards and superhuman expectations, may be trying to please someone in your past, believe you should be able “to do” everything yourself and do it well • Allergic To Details- enjoy dealing with the board picture, too impatient to do follow-up, like to move quickly • Fence Sitter- don't really know what you want, don’t know how to start moving, afraid to make the wrong choice/decision • Cliff Hanger- procrastinate, wait till the last minute to start work, thrive on stress

  7. Office Professionalism What’s, In, It, For, Me • Attitude is contagious • can have a huge impact on office/department • Always try to maintain positive attitude • CHANGE- is not always a bad thing • accept change, move forward, make best of it • can give people a bad attitude
