  1. The Patient Pro Main Form This is the form (window) from which you access all of Patient Pro’s features, and from which you close the program. (Click to proceed) These toolbar buttons give you quick access to all of Patient Pro’s major forms/functions, and to open other programs from Dynamic Array These radio buttons provide a convenient way to open one of Patient Pro’s most frequently-used forms (or to close the program). Just click on one of them, and it will happen! The message bar displays extended hints on the use of objects on the form when you hold your mouse pointer over them. It is visible from all of Patient Pro’s other forms.

  2. The toolbar buttons let you access all of Patient Pro’s major functions If you have a copy of Dynamic Array’s Waiting Room Manager (a patient appointments scheduler that’s linked to Patient Pro’s patient database), a button will appear here that lets you run the program. Click on this button to get Patient Pro to backup all your data to a separate folder on your C:\ drive. Note: It is strongly recommended that you implement a regular backup regime to media external to your PC (e.g., a CD-ROM) to guard against data loss due to hard disk failure. Clicking on this button opens forms that let you save Patient Pro’s patient and financial data for use in other programs. If you have a copy of TMD, HerbBase or NMD, a button will appear here that lets you run the program without leaving Patient Pro Click on this button to open a consultation form for a particular patient. For details, see the tutorial on Consultations Clicking on this button will run Dynamic Array’s Stock Control module. Note: the Stock Control module will be available soon. • Click on these buttons to: • Open the Help file Contents page • Search for help on a particular topic • Get Help on Help • Open Patient Pro’s ‘About’ box for information on the program and a link to the Dynamic Array web site. • Note: Context-sensitive help is always available by pressing F1. Click on this button to open the Options Form. For more information, see the tutorial on Configuring Patient Pro to suit your practice. Clicking on this button opens a form where you can add or delete patients, and enter data on them. For details, see the tutorial on Adding and deleting patients. Click on this button to open a form where you can conveniently access a wide variety of information on herbal medicine courtesy of Michael Moore. Note: You must have Adobe’s Acrobat Reader Version 5 installed to access this information. If you have a copy of Dynamic Array’s Food and Nutrient Calculator (FNC), a button will appear here that allows you to run the program without leaving Patient Pro Click on this button to run Patient Pro’s Invoice Control Module, which lets you issue invoices, receive payments, produce financial reports and more.
