  1. Old Way Correcting Fragments, Run-Ons, and Comma Splices Proofread the following carefully and correct any errors.  All errors will involve fragments, run-ons, or comma splices.  In some cases, you may be able to make your corrections by crossing out or adding punctuation; in other cases, you may need to rewrite the entire sentence. You may also need to cross out some words. If there is no error, then do not change anything; just write the words "no error" at the end. 1.    I am getting a blister on my thumb, I will have to quit playing soon.2.   When she made a chocolate cake for my mother.  She  forgot to add any sugar.3.    The man wearing a plaid jacket.  He is my math teacher.
