  2. The ride Taking part Ballymoney Pedal the Park Get your bike out for a Pedal in the Park! Join Ballymoney Mayor Cllr John Finlay and the Connect 2 Steering Group in a leisurely bike ride in Riverside Park to celebrate Connect 2 Day and the beginning of Bike Week Enjoy a leisurely off-road cycle exploring the opportunities for walking and cycling in the town. On route find out more about the Connect 2 project and Ballymoney’s new shared-use railway bridge. This ride is ideal for families and novice cyclists – 5 km When is it? 10.00 am – 12 noon, Sat 13h June Where is it? The ride leaves from Riverside Park main car park off Armour Avenue What do I need to bring? Just you and your bike. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet. Refreshments will be available at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre – if you can cycle that far! Cycle goodies available for kids.
