Overview & Timeline Updates Overall Objectives • Collect comprehensive data on issues of access & equity related to out of school programs in Oregon, examining barriers to access and issues of equity; and • Raise awareness around issues of access and equity in afterschool (with the public, legislature, etc.). Focus Groups Where we’ve been • 11 Locations • McMinnville, Klamath Falls, Myrtle Creek, Umatilla, Pendleton, Eugene, Portland, Gold Beach, Independence, Woodburn, Hillsboro • 9 participant Parent, 5 non-participant participant parent, 5 participant youth, 3 non-participant youth Where we are going • East Metro: Reynolds, David Douglas, Gresham-Barlow, Centennial, Parkrose • Coast: Newport, Depoe Bay • Central Oregon: Madras, Bend, Prineville

Collaborative Opportunities • Community Advisory Group Presentation at Oregon Department of Education • Presented February 20th • Ford Family Foundation • Met with new Youth Development & Education Programs Grant Manager • East Metro STEAM Partnership • 5 upcoming listening sessions in East Multnomah County
