  2. The First Problem • Lacrosse players that play both middie and defense or attack and defense have a problem. If during a game they are needed to play defense or if they are already playing defense and need to switch to middie or attack then they have to go to the side lines. Find their bag and switch the sticks out.

  3. The Second Problem • Players that play defense have trouble trying to fit there 6 feet lacrosse sticks into their parents cars.

  4. Solutions • The T.L.S is the solution to both of the problems. The T.L.S will make it easier and faster to switch from short stick to long stick or long stick to short stick with three easy steps • Step one: Take the butt off the long part of the stick. • Step two: Unscrew the lacrosse stick. • Step three: Put the butt on the short part of the lacrosse stick. • The T.L.S Lacrosse Stick also makes it easier to fit in cars.

  5. Materials Needed • Surlyn, which is a really strong plastic that many lacrosse sticks are made out of. The company DuPont makes and sells this plastic. • Fastener, which is a screw that is used to connect both parts of the pool stick together and will be used to connect the two parts of the lacrosse stick. • Lacrosse butt, which is a rubber end piece that keeps the sharp part of the lacrosse stick from hurting other lacrosse players.

The Lacrosse Head • The lacrosse head that was chosen to be put on our lacrosse stick is the Brine Voyce X6. • We chose a defense head because defense heads are stronger, lighter, and are designed to make it easier to throw longer distances. • Some high school lacrosse players that I know say that they prefer to use defense heads because the head is designed to throw longer distances.

  7. The Total Cost • The cost of the Surlyn needed to make the lacrosse shaft is about $9.95 • The cost of the fastener is $2.50 • The cost of the lacrosse butt is $2.00 • The cost of the lacrosse head is $24.98 • The total cost of the materials is $39.43

  8. Cornering The Market • If you sell this product now people will buy it and while other companies are trying to make the lacrosse stick you will be selling your product to lacrosse players. • You will be ahead of many famous and great lacrosse companies like STX, Brine, and Warrior. • We will apply for a patent so other companies cannot copy and sell a similar stick to the TLS lacrosse stick whereby preventing any competition.

  9. Machines • The machines needed are • A plastic molder: so you can mold the Surlyn into a lacrosse shaft, • A rubber molder: so you can mold the rubber into a lacrosse butt. • A fastener molder: so you can mold the metal into a fastener.

  10. How Much To Sell It For. • Since it only costs $39.43 so we can sell the lacrosse stick for about $50to $60. • Many lacrosse companies over price their defense shafts. • Since it is a Transformable Lacrosse Stick lacrosse players would pay more since they think its worth more.

  11. How To Make The T.L.S • First melt the Surlyn and pour it into the two end molds. Then after it dries take the two parts out of the molds. Next melt the metal and pour it into the fastener mold. Once dried take the fastener out of the mold. Attach the fastener to one of the ends on the long shaft of the lacrosse stick. Next mold rubber into a lacrosse butt, then once finished put the lacrosse butt on the end of the long shaft end that does not have the fastener on it.

  12. How To Make The T.L.S (Continued) • Then Attach the lacrosse head to one of the ends to the short part of the lacrosse stick. Then thread the other end so that the lacrosse stick parts can be screwed together. Then screw the two parts together and the Transformable Lacrosse Stick is ready.

Why The T.L.S Is Better Than A Normal Lacrosse Stick • Normal defensive lacrosse sticks are long and hard to fit into cars and even harder to find a place to put them when you are not playing lacrosse. The T.L.S can separate to make it easier to fit into cars and can fit into more places than a normal defensive lacrosse stick.

  15. What Country Are The Parts Going To Be Made In • We are going to get the Surlyn from DuPont. We are going to ship the Surlyn to China where it will be molded into the lacrosse shaft parts. The rubber will also be molded into the lacrosse butts in China. The fastener will be made in China. We are going to contract the lacrosse heads from Brine. The products will be shipped to the U.S. where the parts are going to be put together.

  18. How Much Do You Need To Invest • You will need to invest about $500,000 to get the factors and the workers and the supplies.

  19. When Will You Get Your Money Back • If the T.L.S. sells well then in two years you will earn one-fifth of your investment back.
