Do we need a stage for European Culture? • What are the needs for such a stage to be financed by the mass media and business world? • Is there a stage for local traditions being recognized in all of Europe and beyond? • What guarantees acknowledgement and maximum visibility! How do we support traditions and culture of cities, regions ?

Have we done enough? • Cultural awareness of and in Europe • Scientific awareness of and in Europe • NGO influence in Europe and beyond • Development of Culture vs. Sports networks • What arts, culture, education can learn from sports and the entertainment industry? Does Europe show (showcase) its cultural and political power?

Cultural unity in diversity – a European dream only? • Are we aware of our common heritage? • How we can bridge the gaps of understanding? • What kind of structure a project must have to benefit all of us – individual, city, country, continent? Do we want to reduce Europe to a song and a baking contest?

Requirements of a realEuropean project • Invites all levels of societies and its talents • Attracts the media and business world • Strengthens common values • Animates to know more about the neighbors • Guarantees equal “eye-height” • Triggers a floor for culture, education and evaluation of artistic skills The hidden power of Europe – its culture and education

European Delphic Games • Reintroduction of the ancient Delphic Games – at a European level • Having its “testing phase” worldwide successfully accomplished • Giving cities and countries the chance to showcase their cultural and educational ability – besides promoting tourism Wouldn’t it be sad to be a contemporary of a great idea and having overlooked it?

  13. Supporters, Advisors, Ambassadors Art and culture are both our past and our future – they are the deepest expression of our feelings our identities and our personalities. Art helps us to understand different cultures, culture helps us to understand different arts. Together art and culture allow the different generations to communicate and create. It was in this spirit that the ancient Greeks organized the original Delphic Games, and it is also in this spirit that the international Delphic Council decided to re-launch the Games. I would like to salute this initiative very warmly.
