  1. The H Racer and How It Works By: Mario Lizano Evan Brice Alex Jones

  2. Materials • H Racer • Solar panels • Hydrogen station • Smaller parts included

  3. Introduction • Hydrogen is being researched. • There are still issues with big scale use. • When it comes to small use, it works just fine.

  4. Filling It Up • Two ways to fill up the H Racer • There is the RC powered hydrogen car • There is the solar powered hydrogen car.

  5. How It Works • Solar Panel: An electric current is created, which separates the hydrogen and oxygen molecules. • Batteries: Separates molecules with electrical current, sending oxygen up and hydrogen into the car.

  6. How It Works • The station proton exchange membrane (PEM) is the start. • Hydrogen is separated and flow through a cable, creating an electrical charge. • That is how it runs.

  7. Extras • It takes about 20 min to assemble • The car runs for 3- 4 minutes or 100 meters (328 feet) • Takes 20 min to refuel and 10 min is needed to rest.
