  10. Success Story-I Dreams of a less-fortunate turns into reality SamiulGazi drew closer to Rahmat-E-Alam Mission from an extreme poverty-stricken family of a remote and backward village of West Bengal viz. Malangapara. He was really unlucky due to his father’s death in early childhood. His father, Late Nur Islam Gazi left nothing for them, except a mud house. RubiaBibi, the ill-fated mother of Samiul turned into a puzzle. How will she maintain her family? Who will take care of her beloved son? How will he carry on his study? The Almighty heard her unuttered agony of hundreds of difficulties. In some way, Samiul came up to the knowledge of Rahmat-E-Alam Mission in the academic year 2010. He was admitted in Class-vii. Someone (who didn’t want to disclose his name) came forward to provide educational sponsorship. What a surprise! Samiul, the little boy makes a wonder. He got 92% marks in the last Annual Examination in the academic year 2011. 11. Success Story-II Mahmuda grazes in the valley of education, may be one of the instances of female education from backward communities The days were a nightmare to Mahmuda. Her father is a daily wage labour. Therefore, he is an illiterate person. The total number of family members is four including Mahmuda. They were about hand to mouth. Stays in a mud house but the land of the house is not their own. Her father is not capable to maintain the minimum required standard of living. And her village namely Babladanga under the district of Birbhum is one of the most backward villages in West Bengal. But only a hope remains to her father that Mahmuda is studious from her early childhood. The hope has been illuminated by her beloved daughter. One day, Mahmuda came to Rahmat-E-Alam Mission with her father when she was a student of class-ix. Then she was very nearer to the condition of dropout from the main stream of education. But Mahmuda was determined to continue her studies. The Secretary of Rahmat-E-Alam Mission appreciates her determination and takes responsibility of Mahmuda. She was admitted in class-ix in 2010. The innocent girl has kept her words. Now, she is one of the most potential students of our girls section and got 78% marks in the last Annual Examination in the academic year 2011. 12. Our heartfelt gratitude to The lamp lighter, JanabMustakHossain • “Every virtue is fairer when it appears in a beautiful person” Surely JanabMustakHossain is such a wonder of wonders who could have read the tabula rasa of the so called Indian Muslim Community. So he is relentlessly trying his best for the welfare of them. His heart always cries for the underprivileged and backward Muslim community. He is our philosopher, guide and chief benefactor. He believes that service to deprived section of our society is our humane and social duty. He set his foot on Rahmat-E-Alam Mission and delivered an encouraging speech to our beloved students. Though his speech was short, it touches us to think a lot for making a fruitful strategy in future. He also advised our students not to ‘CASH’ education but to pocket education as “KASH” – Here he meant ‘K’ for Knowledge ‘A’ for Attitude ‘S’ for Scheme ‘H’ for Honesty Oh! What a thoughtful speech was it!
