Darrell Jennings, M.D. Student Affairs Student assessment and program evaluation Curriculum curricular governance/quality assurance, innovation and structure Medical school admissions through Associate Dean Elam Education research Faculty Educator Development Clinical Skills Center standardized Patient and Simulation programs, Computer Learning Center, etc. Combined Programs MD/PhD, MD/MBA, MD/MPH, MD/MS and BS/MD pipeline program in collaboration with Senior Associate Dean for Research Graduate Medical Education through Assistant Dean Susan McDowell, M.D.

    9. Senior Associate Dean for Research Alan Daugherty, Ph.D. Assures optimal infrastructure for COM research and development of physician investigators. Provides oversight and coordination of UKCRO, GCRC, K30, Physician Scientist and Deans Clinical Scholar Programs. Serves as consultant to training awards and programs based in individual departments and centers. In collaboration with Senior Associate Dean for Education, enhances MD/PhD program. In collaboration with Senior Associate Dean for Basic Science Affairs, promotes interface between clinical and basic science research. Promotes culture of multidisciplinary teams Promotes pairing of basic and clinical scientists and trainees. Promotes college-wide culture of mentoring.

Office of Sponsored Projects Administration Three staff members dedicated to the College of Medicine Advice on budget preparation and assistance with other administrative requirements of proposals Transmission of proposals to sponsors Review, negotiation and acceptance of awards Information regarding sponsor policies and regulations Preparation of subcontract documents

Program Coordinator for New Faculty Orientation and Compliance Lana Spicer New Clinical Faculty Orientation Oversees Clinical Faculty Orientation Program in the College via New Clinical Faculty Orientation Checklist Serves as point of contact and resource for Faculty Orientation Program Compliance Program Monitors compliance for Medical Center Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, Sexual Harassment, Employee Health Program, KMSF billing Compliance, Bloodborne Pathogen Training, Central Line Placement and offer training options Serves as point of contact and resource for Compliance Programs

Chief of Staff Julane Hamon Manages internal and external communication materials for the College of Medicine Deans Newsletter, College of Medicine Bulletin, UK Medicine magazine and College of Medicine Annual Report Serves as liaison between the College and UK PR and UK HealthCare marketing to ensure visibility of facultys accomplishments Manages special projects in conjunction with Elsie Stines, Director of Collaborative Programs

    17. Deans Advisory Council Twenty-six members who are either UK COM alumni, UK undergraduate alumni or philanthropic supporters of the College Increase awareness of the College in Kentucky and across the nation Increase private philanthropic support by assisting in major fundraising efforts Provide advice on programs and projects that are of interest to the economic development of the state Form an advocacy network for the College
