    29. Constractions *Constractions are often used in English.

    30. “I am a doctor.” or “She is an architect.” We use what are called articles in English for certain singular nouns. The rule is if the noun begins with a vowel ( A,E,I,O,U ) we must use AN but if the noun begins with a consonant (all other letters) we must use A. Grammar Tip use of a / an with nouns.
